I'm a big pen and paper guy too (Also played tenor sax most of my life). I love to think about how far technology has come!

P.S. I've got a few Phil Woods transcriptions to share with you sometime!

I need to say that as a composer/arranger, I started out using pen and paper. I entered the computer age of composing with much trepidation! As an instrumentalist, I am primarily a woodwinds player, alto sax being my main axe. When I learned that The best altoist in the world, Phil Woods, used Sibilius, that was all I needed to know. The best thing I ever did for my creative side was to hook up with LOGIC!
