Choose the port that the controller is connected to in the track inspector. I'll try and show you in a tutorial soon.

Do you mean how do you connect them physically? Sounds like you'll need a MIDI interface and a USB port. Then you just choose the appropriate controller in the track inspector of the Arrange window.

Thanks. That works.
Now for bonus points...

Is there any way to keep a track record-enabled while toggling up and down and selecting other tracks? I want to keep the synth bass track on midi channel1 record enabled (plays on keyboard1), while I select and move through other record-enabled tracks on different midi channels with keyboard2. What happens now is that when another track is selected (and record enabled when selected by default), the synth bass track is "record-disabled" as it is deselected, so it no longer can be played with keyboard 1. Does this make sense? Any workarounds?

Thanks a lot for your help. Excellent site!

Choose File > Project Settings > Recording, and select the "Auto demix by channel if multitrack recording" option. There you have it!

How do you set up multiple controllers in Logic? (I don't see a tutorial on that on the site).

I want to play a piano soft synth sound with midi controller keyboard 1 and an organ sound with midi controller keyboard 2. Setting the different keyboards to different midi channels doesn't seem to work (they both play the same; if you record enable piano, they both play piano. If piano and organ are record enabled on different midi channels, both keyboards play both sounds (layered).
Thanks!
