Hmmm, I paid the $27 for a year and then must pay again to watch videos? What did I buy with the first $27?
MainStage Under The Microscope and The Logical Drummer are the only tutorials that require an additional cost at this time. You have access to everything else as a premium subscriber. Also, subscribers can purchase MainStage Under The Microscope for a discount in the member’s area. Let me know if you have any questions.
Sorry Graham, but as much as I like Logic Studio Training, I was really subscribing to this for all-inclusive content. I’m not sure your value proposition makes much sense here considering how saturated your target market is. SFLogicNinja puts up everything online for free!! I paid for a subscription to get hi-def downloadable tutorials, and content that SFLogicNinja covers. A few of your Logic videos were quite helpful, but as a non-beginner, there isn’t enough content there to sustain me. I was REALLY excited about this MainStage series, and quite disappointed to discover I now must pay you yet more money. I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere for my MainStage video tutorials. Sorry Graham, I do appreciate your financial needs, and you are a great teacher. But I just can’t pay MORE money for this stuff!
I understand. We tried to make it as clear as possible what you will get as a premium subscriber. And when we offer something in addition to the membership, which is rare, we try to make it clear that it’s an additional cost. Sorry for any confusion. We feel the very small cost is justified considering how much new content we deliver every month. But I wish you luck finding what you need!
So I just searched all over the far reaches of the internet looking for free MainStage videos, and let me save you the trouble: they don’t exist. The videos on YouTube are absolutely terrible, bad quality and barely scratching the surface of the program. In just the first video, I see that is is truly worth it, and cannot wait to dive in deeper!! THANK YOU GRAHAM!!
Cheers! You’re welcome.
Will this video be updated for MainStage 2?
Yes, we will be updating it to reflect any changes in MainStage 2.0.
Since the MainStage tutorials are a purchase product. When you update it to reflect 2.0., will there be an additional charge for the updates?
There will be no additional charges when we update it.
Has this been updated yet ? I just recently purchased Logic 9 with mainstage 2. First time logic user and looking to purchase the training. Thanks
Probably early Jan. But the basics still apply.
Hi Graham,
Newbie here
Can you please tell me if mainstage can be routed to
Logic pro somehow. Can they work side by side
What are you trying to achieve? Since Logic already has all of MainStage’s instruments and effects, why would you need to run the side by side? You could try routing MainStage’s audio into Logic using JackPilot. See my scoring tutorial for details.
