Hello! these tutorials have been great! I have a question though, I can’t seem to figure out how to use the sounds on my keyboard – like record them in Logic. I can use my keyboard as a controller for the software instruments and stuff, but what about using the keyboard sounds – is that possible? I am hooked up through usb

Hello Graham, I have a problem with my son’s Electronic Drums. I connected them with MIDI cables through my Audio Card ( Edirol UA-25) but it seems that I don’t have sound on every pad and more, the sound is not the one expected.
For example the Kick drum sounds like the snare and the snare like the crash cymbal and so on. Did I lost you? I am for sure.

There is any way that I can MAP every pad on this drum kit and use the sounds from Ultrabeat, for example?

    Cheers.

    • Have you checked the drum manufacturer’s web site to see if they have instructions for interfacing with Logic? You need to figure out what notes the drums are transmitting and see if you can change them. If you can’t, this mapped instrument tutorial will help you the rest of the way.
