Kurstin also found useful the Evoc PS 20 Vocoder synth, which he used on several tracks including “Everyone’s At It,” “The Fear,” “Not Fair,” “Back to the Start,” “Chinese,” and “Who’d of Known.” “Frequently I’d play the chords of the chorus on the vocoder, sidechaining the lead vocal.
