Logic Pro Region and Track Parameters

The uppermost two boxes in the Inspector are the Region Parameters box and the Track Parameters. As expected, the first deals with selected regions. If a track but no region is selected, it will default to the regions within the selected track. In the Regions Parameters box settings that can be modified include:

  • Loop
  • Follow Tempo (Audio)
  • Quantize (Software Instrument, MIDI)
  • Trasposition (Software Instrument, MIDI)


In the Track Parameter box settings that can be modified include:

  • Track Icon
  • Freeze Mode (Audio, Software Instrument)
  • Flex Mode (Audio)
  • Transposition (Software Instrument, MIDI)
  • Key and Velocity Limits (Software Instrument, MIDI)
  • Style (Software Instrument, MIDI)
