MainStage 3.7.1 Release Notes
MainStage just got an update, and while it’s not packed with flashy new features, 3.7.1 is all about keeping your live performances running smoothly. This update focuses on stability and reliability—because the last thing you need on stage is a crash (unless it’s a cymbal crash you actually meant to play).
What’s New in MainStage 3.7.1?
This update includes stability improvements and bug fixes, addressing several issues that could disrupt your workflow. Here’s a breakdown of what’s been improved:
✅ Stability & Reliability
- No more unexpected crashes when replacing an audio file in Playback.
- Copying unlabeled Workspace objects using Option-drag won’t send MainStage into a tailspin anymore.
🎚 Mixer Enhancements
- Pasted aliases now appear in the correct order in the Mixer (because chaos belongs in music, not in your channel strips).
- Articulation Set menu now works properly for Alias channel strips.
🎛 Plug-in Fixes
- Dragging audio files to Playback imports them correctly, as it should.
- Remix FX settings are now reliably saved in concerts—so your epic live filter sweeps won’t disappear into the void.
💾 General Improvements
- Saving a concert now correctly copies linked audio files related to Sampler when "Sampler data" is selected in the Save dialog.
- Switching to a new audio device now actually works—because sometimes, you just need to plug in something else.
This update may not reinvent the wheel, but it makes sure MainStage runs as smoothly as possible for your live sets. Less troubleshooting, more music.
