Graham do you know where you’d look for the test devices (preset layouts) in Mainstage 2.1? I can’t find them in any of the content folders.
thanks!
Did you check Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Logic or Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic
can you help me fix this problem everytime i open mainstage it give an error says driver not found code 10202
Hi Graham,
Would you mind telling me if this is possible on Mainstage 1 (which I own) or Mainstage 2 if I upgrade? I’m wanting to be able to leave the rack of electronics behind when I go do a gig by myself and replace it with main stage and a lap top.
Here is what I have: an accordion with an audio signal and midi channel 1 (keyboard), midi channel 2 (left hand chords), and midi channel 3 (left hand bass); and an Audio Technica wireless vocal, an Edirol Fa 101 interface and MacBook Pro 10.5.8 OS and Logic 8 and Main Stage 1.
What I want to do is assign each of the 3 channels of midi info to 3 designated channel strips with different software instruments on each. Each midi channel only triggering the one channel strip I desginate. This has been eluding me on both Logic 8 and Main Stage 1 for quite a while.
Thank you,
Terry Cavanagh
Has anyone tried using Mainstage with an Macbook Air yet? My 2 macbook pro’s are getting a little heavy draging them through the airports.
I installed Logic Studio on the original Macbook Air and it worked fine for me. I didn’t try to get a huge track count or anything but I was pleased with the results. I plan on getting a new one when they refresh.
