What's New in Logic Remote 1.5.5
Ever since the Logic Pro 11 update to 11.0.1 and update to Logic Remote 1.5.5 I am unable to connect Logic Remote on any of my devices (iPhone 11Pro Max, and 2 iPad 10’s, to Logic Pro.
I have rebooted MacBook Pro and apps on devices. Have done the hard reset on the devices.
I have made sure they are on the same network countless times.
I have turned on Logic Remote privacy setting on the devices.
I have turned off the firewall and “Blocked all incoming connections,”
I have removed all devices from the Control Surface Setup page. Interesting, my iPhone and iPads show up here but still will not connect. I deleted and tried to reconnect and they reappear in the control surface list but will not connect.
What am I missing? What else can I try? Is this a bug in one or both updates?
Thank you for any help
John
I am using OS Sonoma 14.5 on a 2021 Silicon MacBook Pro and have the latest IOS software on my devices.
Any ideas?
It sounds like you’ve already covered most troubleshooting steps—great work so far. Since your devices are showing up in the Control Surface Setup but not connecting, try these additional steps:
If none of these work, this may indeed be a bug in the latest updates. You can report it to Apple via their Feedback Assistant.
