Is my Mac compatible with macOS Tahoe?
To find out if your Mac is compatible with macOS Tahoe 26, open System Settings > General > Software Update. You'll see macOS Tahoe 26 listed if your computer is compatible.

I still haven’t updated to Sequoia out of fear some long-term or slow-moving projects would have failing plug-ins. However, I am wondering if a decent amount of glitches and bugs in running into are due to skipping updates. It sounds like you would now recommend updating to Sequoia since it has been a full year since it was released, is that correct?
I’m running Logic Pro11.2.2 on Sequoia 15.6.1 without issue. I’m using a Mac Mini M2 256 GB internal 16 GBRAM and several TB hanging of the backside.
I think that the main issue for you is in researching whether your Mac is new enough to run Sequoia. It’s a great little OS.
Old time rocker and pop artist. Love to do covers of great bands over the last 80 years. Keyboard /piano with a tremendous library of sheet music spanning 60 years. Dabbled with logic but most music was created using Cakewalk Sonar and several Yamaha keyboards.
