Logic Pro for iPad 3.3 brings the same creative engine upgrades arriving across the Logic family this round, plus a redesigned Flex & Follow interface and a batch of Piano Roll improvements.

🥁 Beat Breaker Upgrade
- New filter and resonance modes, with high or low pass filtering per slice
- A panning mode for moving each slice left and right
- Randomization for all modes or per mode, with probability and intensity controls
🌫️ Alchemy: Granular Sync and Formant Shifting
The Alchemy granular engine expands with Granular Sync, and formant shifting joins the toolkit for reshaping a sound's character. A new sound pack built around Granular Sync ships alongside it, with loops, one-shots, and field recordings to explore.
🎛️ Redesigned Flex & Follow and Piano Roll Improvements
- The Flex & Follow interface has been redesigned
- The Piano Roll uses an updated default color scheme, with a new setting to control how notes are colorized
- A Repeat command is now available in the Piano Roll
- The Original Tempo parameter is now available in the Audio Region Inspector
🎚️ Expanded MIDI Learn
- Live Loops controls can now be assigned with MIDI Learn
- The Tempo control in the Transport Display can be assigned with MIDI Learn
- MIDI Learn assignment frames are now visible on XY pads, the Alchemy Transform pad, and Sample Alchemy source handles
✨ Interface Polish
- Icons have been added to items in the main menu
- A Bypass command is now in the shortcut menu for effect and send slots in the channel strip
- Drum Machine Designer pads can be copied and pasted in Edit mode
- Lessons now appear in app-wide search results
