Logic Pro for iPad 3.2 Release Notes
🆕 What's New in Logic Pro for iPad 3.2
This is a focused maintenance update — no headline features, but a solid round of fixes across Chord Track, Flex, Step Sequencer, and general stability. If you've been running into any quirky behavior, this one's worth installing.
Enhancements and Fixes
- Chord Track: Running Analyze Chords on a region a second time no longer adds duplicate chords to the Chord Track. If you've been using Chord ID to identify harmonies, this makes the workflow more reliable.
- Flex Pitch: Fixes an issue where opening a Take folder with Flex Pitch enabled could cause an unexpected quit. Keep an eye out for our upcoming Flex Pitch vocal tuning guide — it's in progress.
- Apple Loops: Loops can now be dragged and dropped directly into the Loops Browser, and the Browser no longer appears empty after importing several loops in column view.
- Step Sequencer: Patterns with more than 16 steps now save correctly.
- Mastering Assistant: Transparent mode now works in projects set to a sample rate of 192 kHz.
- Session Players: The Sequenced Bass Session Player no longer plays notes in the wrong key unexpectedly.
- Takes and Comping: The Takes folder view no longer jumps to the top take when vertically zooming in a folder with a large number of takes.
Stability and Reliability
This update addresses a number of crash scenarios, including issues triggered by USB audio interfaces on project creation, canceling chord analysis on long files, and Chord Track editing with the editor open. If Logic has been quitting unexpectedly on your iPad, update first and see if that resolves it.
