I have an access ti2 with multiple channels. I t has been set up so that the virus software only plugs in to one channel strip. The idea is to repeat channel strips and change the midi channels. The trouble is that if you put an effect on any of the channels they all get it.
is there any way around that?
regardless… great tutorial I’m lovin’ this website
cheers
Thanks, Cory! So you’re only bringing the ti2 into two channels of your audio interface, right? If so, there’s no way for Logic to split a stereo signal into discreet channels and then process them separately. It can only process the stereo channel as a whole. But if you’re using multiple inputs/outputs, you should be able to process them separately. I haven’t come across this situation yet so I’m not 100% sure. Let me know how it goes.
very helpful tutorial. really helped with my blofeld keyboard synth issue i was having.
thank you.
Is there anyway for me midi up or sync my Logic studio up with my Korg 3200? Please don;t ask why?
I don’t know that unit first hand but you should be able to sync it up with MIDI Machine Control (MMC). The MIDI Synchronization Settings are available in the Project Settings.
Hey Graham, I remember you had sent me a link or something similar to upload beats that were made in logic. Could you send me that link again please when you get a minute.
Hi Graham
Do u have any experience with korg and logic !
Im facing i problem wherei want to use the sound from the korg and use the logic to edit the midi.
I did configured the midi in/out but it plays always the wrong sounds.
Graham, I’m having the same problem as the guy above Hussam. I can record and get sound from my Korg keyboard using my Usb interface but when I change a voice on my korg it changes in every track that I’ve recorded to the current sound on the keyboard seems like a routing issue with the (Prg 0-11) ????
I am having that problem also set up multiple chanel to record but logic allow me to record one chanel and can not match the chanels on my keyboard
