Apple just dropped Logic Pro for iPad 2.2—and it’s one of the most powerful updates yet.
This release isn’t just about fixing bugs (though it does plenty of that). It adds serious creative tools and pro features that put the iPad version even closer to its desktop counterpart. Here are the highlights:
🎛️ Learn MIDI
Map your favorite MIDI controller to virtually any parameter in Logic using the new Learn MIDI interface. Just tap a control in Logic, move a knob or fader on your controller, and you’re connected—no menu diving required.
🔁 Flashback Capture
Wish you hit record? Now Logic can capture performances after the fact—even with MIDI, audio, or external instruments. Cycle mode lets you experiment freely, and Logic will still catch everything in take folders or new tracks.
🎚️ Enhanced Stem Splitter
Now with higher fidelity and new support for guitar and piano, Stem Splitter makes it easy to isolate vocals, drums, and more. You can even submix and export custom stems like instrumental-only or drums-with-bass.
🥁 Drum and Bass Pack: Dancefloor Rush
New royalty-free sound pack for DnB producers: get peak-time drums, aggressive synths, and thundering bass—ready to drop into your next track.
