Using Aux Channels

To use the aux channel to create a subgroup, select the desired channels (Shift-click or click-drag over the words Insert or I/O text of the desired channels), then point the Output slot of any of the selected channels to the desired aux channel (e.g., Bus 1). Then, the output of the aux channel must be assigned. This channel works like a regular channel in that insert effects may be added, level and panning set, etc.

To send a single channel strip to two destinations, select the main output in the strip's Output slot, then open a send slot and select the second location to which the signal should be sent. From there, open the destination aux bus's Output slot and select the second output destination (e.g., headphones).
