🆕 What's New in MainStage 4.2

MainStage 4.2 is a small but practical update. Three fixes, all worth having — especially if you're on an Intel Mac or working with complex concert files.

Fixes and Enhancements

  • Stability: Resolves an unexpected quit that occurred when choosing About MainStage from the main menu on Intel Macs or when running MainStage in Rosetta.
  • Sound Library: Renaming a patch no longer accidentally applies that name to a different patch — a quiet but consequential fix for anyone managing large concert files.
  • General: The main window no longer shrinks unexpectedly after hiding various combinations of views in Edit mode.

If any of these have been tripping you up, go ahead and update. If you're on Apple silicon and haven't hit these issues, it's still a clean maintenance install.
