Muting Tracks

Logic Pro Track Mute

A track can be muted by pressing the Mute (M) button in the track header area, the track inspector, or the mixer. If the Mute button is hidden, place the pointer over the left edge by the track number in the track list and click when the pointer turns into a hand. A bullet to the left of the track name indicates that channel is muted. Muting a track can also be achieved by selecting a track and using the key command Control-M.
