Creating and Editing Events in the Event List

Events within the Event List can be selected by clicking on an individual event and by dragging the pointer while clicking. The Shift key can also be used to select multiple events. Further:

  • Command-A selects all
  • Shift-F selects all events after the present selection
  • Shift-L selects all events in the locators
  • Shift-M selects all muted regions
  • Shift-S selects similar events/regions
  • Shift-E selects events that are exactly the same
  • Shift-K selects events on the same MIDI channel
  • Shift-P selects events that have the same starting position

To create an event manually:

  • Move the playhead to the desired insert position
  • Click Create
  • Select an event type


To duplicated an event:

  • Use the pencil tool and click on the desired event in the Status column
  • Enter the position where the duplicated event is to be inserted

Values in the Event List can be edited by clicking on them and entering the desired value. The same goes for event position and length. Events can be muted by clicking on them with the Mute tool. Events can be deleted by clicking on them with the Eraser tool, or by selecting them and pressing Delete.
