Using Flex Time

Jump to navigationJump to searchFlex Time is a nondestructive method of stretching or shrinking audio. In short, what Logic does is create markers between which the audio may be altered. An audio file may contain one or many markers. Flex markers may be manipulated in the Arrange area's Flex view, or by using the Flex tool.
To utilize this capability, turn on Flex view by selecting View > Flex View in the Arrange area's localView menu, clicking the Flex View button in the Arrange toolbar, or most simply by using Command-F. Once activated each audio track will show which Flex mode is being utilized.
